Holt Gas-Electric Tank

Only one prototype of the Holt Gas-Electric Tank was built in 1917. It was a colaboration between Holt (now Catapillar) and General Electric. A 4-cyclinder gas engine was used to turn a generator that made power for the electric motor. Armorment consisted of a 75mm gun in the nose and two Browning 7.62mm machine guns, one in each sponson.

The kit is a 3D printed one from Vargas. Fit on some of the parts is quite tight, so I got caught out while test fitting some - the parts had to be left in the test fitted position, even though they really needed to be altered. Oh well, I'll know better on my next Vargas kit. Otherwise, the kit is quite nice.
